Taylorsville Kentucky does indeed have some great roads.

Really it is the whole area.

Hilly and curve is just how central Kentucky is shaped. Plus they don’t get much snow so the roads are usually smoooooth.

It certainly makes for a nice motorcycle ride amsr video. Too bad its the last of the season. I will get to shooting some more shortly. Until then, enjoy this one and keep the shiny side up.

Here is a description of the ride I beat out of my pet robot when no one was watching me.

Riding a motorcycle around the hilly, twisty roads of Taylorsville, Kentucky, on a beautiful sunny day is like stepping into a dream curated by Mother Nature herself. Picture this: the rolling hills unfurl like a green velvet ribbon, each curve and dip a playful invitation to test your skill and embrace the freedom of the open road. The experience is pure magic, blending adrenaline and tranquility into one unforgettable ride.

The roads in this part of Kentucky aren’t just twisty—they’re the kind of twisty that makes you feel like you’re starring in your own motorcycle adventure movie. Each bend reveals something new: a sweeping view of emerald valleys, a picturesque barn straight out of a country song, or a field dotted with happy cows that, if you squint, appear to be applauding your cornering technique. It’s a motorcyclist’s paradise, the kind of route where every twist of the throttle feels like a celebration of life.

As you ride, the sun bathes everything in golden light, creating a warmth that feels as if it’s coming from inside you. The engine purrs beneath you—a sound so satisfying it could double as a meditation app. The wind rushes past, carrying with it the fresh scents of grass, wildflowers, and maybe a faint whiff of a neighbor’s grill. Yes, you’re absolutely going to find that grill later, because what’s a ride without a pit stop for some authentic Kentucky barbecue?

The rhythm of the ride—leaning into curves, rolling on the throttle, feeling the bike respond beneath you—is an almost spiritual experience. It’s like being part of a symphony where the road is the composer, your bike is the instrument, and you’re the lucky musician invited to play along. You can’t help but feel grateful for moments like this, when everything aligns: the weather, the road, and the unshakable joy of simply being alive.
